Role

About Inventory Programme:

  • The Inventory programme provides a long-term sustainable inventory management solution to deliver cost efficiencies and reduced operational risk.
  • Improved Customer, Supplier and Employee Experience.
  • Reduced Supplier Costs
  • Complete understanding of customer profitability
  • Reduced risk of customer equipment not being covered by maintenance contractors or customers being charged for services that they are no longer using

Inventory BAU Run Train delivers capability enhancements and maintains the existing platform delivered through the Strategic Inventory and Inven2ry Programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and deliver opportunities for improvement of Inventory related capabilities
  • Manage VCS cost of sale ensuring that status and margin is known for each circuit
  • Engage the business stakeholders to understand the impact of any change to processes or to the functionality of SIP on their teams
  • Engage with the stakeholders to provide SMEs/Change champions to work with the team on design and development, participation in UAT and support with deployment and adoption
  • Participate in standard agile cadences including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos and sprint retrospective
  • Measure adoption against the agreed success criteria and report to business stakeholders in line with the adoption plan

Expetience

  • Experience from working in fixed line billing, cease operation, provide, commercial change or inventory team
  • Advanced Excel, Basic SQL and Power Apps
  • Stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills at multiple levels
  • Collaborative team player, able to work in a matrix structure, across multiple functions and global locations
  • Analytical mind set and strong ability to work with complex issues
  • Demonstrable business analysis experience across the product
  • Strong facilitation skills, with a proven record of working within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, ideally in the telecoms or IT sector
  • Extensive knowledge of fixed connectivity products and associated customer lifecycle
