Role Profile

  • Design:
  • Define the responsibilities, operations and relationships of a specific
    software module, and determines how it will be adjusted to the fulfil
    business needs.
  • Delivery:
  • Participate in the Software Development life cycle
  • Ensure successful User Acceptance Test
  • Quality assurance of locally developed systems
  • Provide 2nd line support for systems in production
  • Teamwork:
  • Dedication, sense of ownership in fulfilling company strategies. Continuous
    improvement in relevant area of profession.
  • Standards & Procedures:
  • Ensure full compliance of all locally developed applications with the
    standard software development methodology used in Vodafone Egypt.

Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
    • Implement business requirements to technical systems functionalities.
    • Work and Interact with a diversified team to meet business challenges.
    • Effective Communication with different stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Results driven and solutions focused.
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications:
    • 2-5 years of IT experience.
    • Experience in Software development and implementation life cycle.
    • Computer Science/Engineering professional degree is a must.
    • Good experience at least of the database technologies (SQL - NOSQL)
    • Java programming and one of its framework (Spring)
    • Good Rest APIs, microservices architecture
    • Familiar with Agile methodologies .
    • Familiar with Software development life cycle.
    • Good knowledge with Linux , networking and version control.
    • Familiar with cloud technologies and containers .
    • Hands on experience with API development and testing.
    • CI/CD basic knowledge
