About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration Design and Development professional to play a critical role within the TIBCO integration layer supporting Vodafone UK business. This role holds end‑to‑end responsibility for ensuring high‑quality integration design and build outcomes, contributing to solution performance, stability and scalability across releases. The individual will act as a technical authority within the integration domain, influencing architecture decisions, reviewing complex solutions and supporting production stability for business‑critical platforms

What you’ll do

Represent the integration domain during end‑to‑end requirements analysis and solution design for each release.
Design and develop optimised integration solutions to ensure performance efficiency and effective resource utilisation.
Lead development activities based on approved integration designs.
Own high‑complexity solution designs and implementations across releases.
Review, guide and optimise deliverables produced by developers within assigned project teams.
Apply integration standards, design patterns and best practices consistently.
Operate effectively within both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Act as the final technical escalation point for production issues with significant business impact.
Identify inefficiencies across integration processes and introduce automation or optimisation solutions.
Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of assigned projects with end‑to‑end accountability.
Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to drive shared success.

Who you are

A seasoned SOA / Integration professional with 5 to 9 years of hands‑on design and development experience using TIBCO technologies.
Highly proficient across TIBCO EMS (7.x / 8.x), BusinessWorks (5.x / 6.x), ActiveSpaces, APIX, adapters and SDKs.
Experienced in application and internet gateways, core Java, JMS, Oracle SQL, caching strategies, encryption standards, microservices and security.
Confident in defining and applying Common Data Models (CDM) and TMF models.
Knowledgeable in telecom environments, with exposure to large‑scale, business‑critical integration landscapes.
Comfortable leading technical discussions, influencing stakeholders and articulating complex concepts clearly.
Resilient and effective in high‑pressure, fast‑changing environments.
Committed to mentoring, knowledge‑sharing and developing technical capability within the team.
Demonstrates ownership, accountability and a collaborative mindset.
Qualified with a BE / ME / MTech in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or IT, or an MSc / MCA in relevant disciplines.
