Job Description

Role Purpose

As the Head of Network Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, deployment, and optimization of mobile and fix network in Czech Republic. You will lead a team of experts, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the development of high-quality, scalable, and efficient network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic network development plans to drive business growth.
  • Work in coordination with Network Development European Centers of Excellence to implement guidelines and execute deployment of both mobile and fixed networks
  • Lead and manage network planning and rollout projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network initiatives with business objectives.
  • Oversee the optimization of network performance and quality of service measured by quality KPIs and customer perception.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements incl. H&S area.
  • Maintain relationships with TowerCos and ensure the best quality in network sharing quality
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Excellent understanding of the telecommunications market.
  • Technical experience in multinational companies and large matrix organizations.
  • Experience in managing vendors.
  • Experience in managing remote teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to switch from analysis and strategy definition to action.

Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications

  • High-level degree in Engineering, preferably in telecommunications.
  • 10+ years of experience in Technology.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior role.
  • Fluency in English.
