Role Purpose
To accelerate the growth and adoption of Vodafone Egypt’s digital healthcare solutions by acquiring new clients and expanding strategic relationships across the Egyptian healthcare sector.
The role focuses on a comprehensive portfolio—HMIS, HIS, CDS, Telemedicine, Insurance, and Health Information Exchange (HIE)—and leverages Vodafone’s market leadership demonstrated through flagship national projects, including the Universal Health Insurance (UHI) Digitalization Program, University Hospitals Automation, Primary Healthcare Units Automation, and Egypt Air Hospitals Automation.
Candidates will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative digital health solutions that are transforming care delivery for millions of Egyptians and advancing the nation’s healthcare digital transformation agenda.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
- Develop and execute end-to-end sales strategies targeting public hospitals, private hospitals, clinics, insurance providers, government health authorities, and pharmaceutical companies in Egypt.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement through to contract closure and post-sale follow-up.
- Coordinate with digital healthcare presales, product, delivery, and marketing teams to tailor solutions and ensure successful client onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT departments, clinicians, and procurement teams.
- Own and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and reporting, to ensure achievement of revenue and growth targets.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, technology, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in business development, sales, client relationship management, or healthcare information technology (HCIT) solutions.
- Demonstrated success in end-to-end sales or business development roles, preferably within digital healthcare or software solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship management skills, with fluency in English.
- General understanding of IT concepts (such as connectivity and hosting); awareness of software sales processes is an advantage.
