Role Purpose

The Safety, Health & Wellbeing Lead – Governance & Reporting is responsible for overseeing SHW governance, compliance, reporting, and data analytics. The role supports the effective implementation of SHW frameworks, digital initiatives, training programs, and awareness campaigns, ensuring alignment with company standards and local legislation.

Role Profile

  • Lead SHW governance activities and ensure compliance with local legislation, company policies, and regional standards.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze, and report SHW data from teams and contractors.
  • Prepare regular SHW performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for stakeholders.
  • Support and manage SHW digital tools, systems, and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and track corrective actions.
  • Plan and support SHW campaigns, training programs, and awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain the ISO45001 certification through the annual surveillance audits.
  • Own SHW governance and ensure compliance with company standards and local legislation.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and report SHW data, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Coordinate audits, compliance activities, and corrective action tracking.
  • Manage SHW reporting systems and digital improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and support SHW campaigns, training, and awareness activities.

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Leadership, planning, communication and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge in safety policies and procedures as well as network deployment and maintenance quality requirements.
  • Experience of dealing with political issues in a corporate environment with Strong ability to influence and lead thinking across different teams
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    • Post Graduate certificates in H&S, ex. Nebosh & OSHA certificates are preferred.
    • Engineering degree or equivalent.
    • Excellent experience in construction and maintenance works under VF quality technical guidelines.
    • Excellent knowledge in safety and secuity requirements, policies and procedures.
    • Project planning and vendor management skills
    • Engineering Bachelor’s degree or related field.
    • 5+ years’ experience in SHW roles with a focus on governance, reporting, or compliance.
    • Strong knowledge of Egyptian H&S legislation and management systems.
    • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and digital tools (e.g., dashboards, Power BI).
    • Professional certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001) preferred.
    • Fluent in English and Arabic.
