Hardware Pricing Manager
(maternity cover)
Your role in a nutshell:
The Hardware Pricing Manager will ensure that our hardware pricings for mobile devices are supporting sales effectiveness for our mobile core connectivity products. This role will be responsible for managing the smartphone and tablet hardware portfolio in Vodafone Business Germany within a dynamic and rapidly changing market environment ensuring Vodafone Businesses competitiveness in the German B2B market.
What you'll do:
- Definition and development of the Hardware portfolio strategy, roadmap planning with regard to campaign creation & execution and also business as usual competition tracking to ensure our portfolio setup is aligned with customer and market requirements.
- Together with GTM, Terminals & Logistics, Sales and Finance teams build the business case for development of new initiatives and obtain executive buy in with realistic assumptions and phasing that sets us up for successful in-year delivery.
- Product roadmaps & campaigning are defined to meet specific customer and commercial objectives to expand Vodafone’s leadership position and market share.
- Portfolio management is defined by taking into account the entire product lifecycle from launching devices, campaigning and promo creation for mature devices and also offboarding of “old” models
What you will bring to the team:
- Excellent language skills - Knowledge of German (C1)
- High interest in technical development within the mobile device market
- Strong commercial thinking
- Cost based pricing experience
- Strategic, creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to present the vision and commercial benefits to internal and external audiences
- Highly analytical with strong communication & presentation skills and high-quality awareness
