Role Purpose

The ESG Governance, Reporting & Assurance Sr. Specialist is responsible for driving Vodafone Egypt’s ESG governance, sustainability reporting, monitoring & evaluation (M&E;), and disclosure management processes.

The role leads the end-to-end coordination of ESG reporting cycles while establishing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess performance, measure impact, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision making across sustainability initiatives and business functions.

The role acts as a key liaison between Vodafone Egypt and Vodafone Group on ESG disclosures, governance priorities, and reporting requirements, while ensuring reporting accuracy, assurance readiness, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with global ESG frameworks and standards.

In addition, the role manages reporting-related campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities to strengthen awareness, transparency, and visibility around Vodafone Egypt’s ESG impact and sustainability progress.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

• Lead and coordinate Vodafone Egypt’s annual Sustainability Report and ESG disclosures.
• Govern ESG reporting processes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment across functions.
• Coordinate reporting requirements and submissions between Vodafone Egypt and Vodafone Group.
• Ensure alignment with ESG frameworks and standards including GRI, ISSB, CSRD, SASB, and
evolving ESG requirements.
• Support ESG assurance processes, audits, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Design and implement monitoring & evaluation (M&E;) frameworks to assess ESG performance,
business impact, and sustainability outcomes.
• Develop and track ESG KPIs, impact metrics, reporting dashboards, and governance performance
indicators.
• Lead performance monitoring and impact assessment processes to ensure measurable progress
against ESG commitments and targets.
• Analyze ESG data and reporting insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous
improvement.
• Establish data governance and validation mechanisms to enhance reporting accuracy, consistency,
and reliability.
• Coordinate cross-functional data collection, verification, and performance reporting processes.
• Manage reporting stakeholders across internal functions including Finance, HR, Technology, Legal,
Supply Chain, External Affairs, and Commercial teams.
• Act as the focal point between Vodafone Egypt and Vodafone Group for ESG reporting and
governance coordination.
• Manage ESG and sustainability reporting campaigns to strengthen internal and external awareness
and engagement around Vodafone Egypt’s impact and disclosures.
• Partner with communications and brand teams to translate reporting outputs into strategic storytelling
and engagement campaigns.
• Support executive presentations, ESG events, award submissions, and stakeholder engagement
activities.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications


Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Sustainability, ESG, Communications, Finance, Economics,
or relevant field.


Work Experience
• 3–7 years of experience in ESG reporting, governance, monitoring & evaluation (M&E;), sustainability
performance management, impact measurement, assurance, or related fields.


Interpersonal Skills
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and project management capabilities.
• Excellent command of English & Arabic verbally and in writing.
• Strong drive to deliver results through self-initiation and persistence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Strong experience in monitoring & evaluation (M&E;), impact measurement, KPI tracking, and
performance management frameworks.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data governance capabilities.
• Ability to translate ESG data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and disclosure standards.
• Experience in governance, reporting coordination, assurance, or compliance processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex reporting cycles.
