About this Role

We are seeking an Integration Platform Specialist to work in a client-facing capacity, supporting and managing multi-tier, clustered Oracle Fusion Middleware applications hosted on UNIX platforms. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, stability, scalability, and performance of integration platforms such as WebLogic, OSB, SOA/AIA and ODI, while adhering to ITIL practices. The individual will play a key role in deployments, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement within a complex, highly concurrent telecom environment.

What you will do

Manage end-to-end application deployments in clustered non-production and production environments using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Ensure platform scalability, stability, resilience and uptime in a distributed, high-throughput environment.Perform deployment, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of WebLogic and Fusion Middleware applications including OSB, SOA/AIA and ODI.Analyse end-to-end transaction flows, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects effectively.Provide clear, structured technical assessments and root cause analysis for incidents and problems.Maintain server logs and perform proactive monitoring to identify performance bottlenecks.Participate in incident, problem, change, release and deployment management activities in line with ITIL processes.Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, run books, deployment plans and work instructions.Support capacity planning activities by maintaining risk registers, defining KPIs, and proactively optimising infrastructure utilisation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.Provide on-call and rotational shift support, including weekends and public holidays, as required.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

Who you are

An experienced integration or middleware professional with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in application deployment and support across WebLogic, OSB, SOA/AIA and ODI environments.Proficient in UNIX commands and shell scripting, with working knowledge of Java, SQL and PL/SQL.Experienced in performance tuning, transaction triage, load balancing and high-availability architectures.Knowledgeable in JDBC, JMS, Node Manager, clustering and lifecycle management of WebLogic Server.Familiar with BPEL, Mediator, Proxy Services, XREF tables, DVMs, XSLT and XQuery transformations.Experienced in certificate installation and renewal within WebLogic environments.Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins and SonarQube.Comfortable working with web servers such as Oracle HTTP Server (OHS).Possess working knowledge of Oracle Database administration activities using SQL*Plus, including listener checks and basic troubleshooting.Strong understanding of ITIL processes with hands-on experience using ticketing tools such as Remedy or Jira.Familiar with telecom domain environments and Fusion Middleware paired applications such as OSM, Siebel and BRM within RODOD implementations.A collaborative communicator who can work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
