To support key strategic growth areas, Enterprise IT require a highly capable and experienced Enterprise Architect to work in the IT, Strategy & Architecture team supporting Vodafone Business.

Accountabilities will include defining and aligning IT Enterprise and capability (people, process & tools) architectures for Vodafone Business Units in Group and Local markets with strategies, frameworks and guidance from Global Architecture and IT Enterprise Architecture functions in Local Markets.

A strategic leader by building bridges, facilitating consensus, and driving innovation to transform ideas into business value.

The trusted advisor who provides holistic advice, guides change, and serves as the advocate for the organisation's vision and goals by aligning IT with business strategy.

What you’ll do

Impact on the business:


• Accountable for the defining the end state architecture vision
• Accountable for respective domain (Sell, Build, Run, Data) architecture and decisions that impact the journey to end state vision
• Ensuring correct governance is adhered to and business outcomes and metrics are clear to validate investment case
• Influencing and enabling the business requirements in line with end state vision

Customers, suppliers and third parties:

• Ensure that solutions implemented meet business objectives, Architecture Principles and leverage on best practice.
• Decisions for 3rd party technology selection (RFx)
• Ensuring that delivery models and teams are working to ensure strategy is deliverable


Leadership and Team Work:


• Leads the engagement across Vodafone Business for communicating the strategy and enablement
• Works closely and collaboratively across VB teams, VBIT, Product Engineering & Management
• Expert in domain, enabling and shaping workstreams with LPM to enable successful

Innovation and Change:


• Innovate new models and technology with proof of concept work
• Constant change advocate for efficient process to then automate and optimise
• Enable EA backlog items to roadmap and deliver over the medium and long term

Communication:


• Act as IT representative towards business and business representative towards IT
• Provide solution direction and guidance to other project architects and technical staff.
• Interact with, plan and monitor technical departments effort to implement successful delivery of the solutions.
• Develops and maintains relationship with Group and Local OpCo technology leads, while ensuring that team members remain the primary point of contact for day-to-day matters.
• Builds and maintains relationships with external vendors and partners.

Who you are

• Proven track record defining and governing complex technical architecture and solution designs in a complex B2B Telco environment
• Demonstrable and recent track record of architecting and delivering Enterprise Sales, Catalogue capabilities using OOB features of platforms and tools leveraging data design methodologies, Agile methodology, coding standards, version control, continuous deployment methodologies and industry best practices.
• Capability to analyse complex Business processes, articulate and define complex architectures in a simple way to stakeholders underpinned by a structured analytical approach and high-quality architectural artefacts and deliverables.
• Ability to translate Business Strategy and needs into IT Architecture Artefact for markets; estimate the financial impact of architectural alternatives. Ability to balance short term vs. strategic solutions to cater to conflicting demands.
• Business acumen with solid E2E understanding of Enterprise processes.
• Salesforce, ServiceNow, AmDocs, Oracle or similar technologies.
• TOGAF certification.
• Telco Processes and Operations: Frameworx TM/Open Digital Architecture
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• 7+ years of Industry experience.
• Industry/Customer/Product: Enterprise products relevant certifications
