We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this Role
We are seeking an individual to support 2nd Line Operations for OSS provisioning systems in a multi-vendor environment. The role involves ensuring service continuity, resolving complex incidents, and improving automation and monitoring for OSS applications. The successful candidate will collaborate across technical teams, engage with external partners, and support the introduction of new systems and technologies.
What you will do
- Administer and optimise provisioning and monitoring platforms, as well as critical OSS applications.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring tools and incident detection systems.
- Deliver process improvements, configuration management, and technical input for projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues within the team.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for complex issue resolution.
- Engage with technical teams, NOC engineers, and Service Delivery teams, applying ITIL-aligned practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Manage ticketing systems, escalation flows, and operational documentation.
- Ensure proactive monitoring, reporting, and clear communication to maintain service levels.
Who you are
- Skilled in creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Experienced with Linux OS, application/database administration, and telecom protocols.
- Proficient in programming/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experienced with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualisation (VMware vSphere/ESX, Microsoft Azure).
- Possessing advanced Oracle database knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiar with automation and digitisation initiatives in network operations.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Educated to university level in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
- With minimum three years of experience in server/application operations and Linux/database environments.
