Clear Mobile is Ireland's digital-first challenger mobile brand. We are building a simple, customer-centric mobile business focused on digital acquisition, frictionless customer experiences and sustainable growth.

Role Purpose

The Digital Manager is responsible for driving customer growth across all digital acquisition channels while owning Clear Mobile's customer acquisition cost (CPA) performance.

This role leads the planning, execution and optimisation of digital marketing activity across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring the business delivers efficient, scalable customer acquisition and industry-leading conversion performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, growth marketing expertise and deep digital experience to continuously improve customer acquisition, conversion and ROI.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a data-driven, challenger environment and has a proven track record of scaling digital-first consumer businesses.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

Digital Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute Clear's digital growth strategy.
  • Identify acquisition opportunities across the digital ecosystem.
  • Build scalable customer acquisition programmes.
  • Continuously optimise digital channel performance.
  • Drive a culture of testing, experimentation and growth.

Search Marketing (SEO & PPC)

  • Own Clear's SEO strategy and performance.
  • Develop and deliver technical and content SEO initiatives.
  • Manage PPC activity across search platforms.
  • Improve search rankings and organic traffic.
  • Maximise paid search efficiency and return on investment.
  • Monitor competitor search activity and identify opportunities.

Performance Marketing

  • Manage and optimise:
    • Paid Search
    • Paid Social
    • Display
    • Affiliate Marketing
    • Retargeting
    • Digital Partnerships
    • App Marketing
  • Continuously improve customer acquisition outcomes.
  • Allocate budgets based on performance and ROI.
  • Drive channel optimisation through data and analytics

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

  • Own end-to-end digital funnel performance.
  • Identify drop-off points and optimisation opportunities.
  • Run A/B testing and experimentation programmes.
  • Improve website, app and checkout conversion rates.
  • Partner with Digital Product and CX teams to enhance customer journeys.

Data & Analytics

  • Establish KPI frameworks and reporting.
  • Use customer and behavioural data to drive decision making.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and attribution.
  • Deliver actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Forecast acquisition performance and recommend investment priorities.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Manage digital agencies and external partners.
  • Ensure delivery against performance targets.
  • Challenge agency recommendations using data and commercial outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key digital platforms and partners.

Who you are

Experience & Skills:

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, growth marketing or performance marketing roles.
  • Proven experience managing digital acquisition programmes.
  • Strong SEO and PPC experience.
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition funnels.
  • Experience managing significant digital media budgets.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills.
  • Expertise in digital performance measurement and optimisation.
  • Experience using web analytics and digital marketing platforms.
  • Demonstrated success delivering customer growth in digital-first businesses.

Highly Desirable

  • Telecoms experience.
  • Experience in digital challenger brands.
  • Experience in subscription businesses.
  • E-commerce or direct-to-consumer experience.
  • App-based business experience.
  • Experience in fintech, media, streaming or digital-native organisations.
