About this Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with around one year of experience to support and enhance cloud platforms, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role focuses on learning and contributing to Kubernetes-based platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational support across development and production environments. Working closely with senior engineers, the individual will help automate, secure, and maintain reliable, scalable cloud services that enable engineering teams to deliver efficiently.

What you’ll do

Support the management and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on GCPAssist in deploying and supporting Kubernetes clusters and containerised applicationsContribute to Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance using TerraformHelp develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deliverySupport Linux-based systems across cloud environmentsAssist with secrets management and secure access solutions such as VaultMonitor system health through logging, alerting, and observability platformsProvide operational support for development, staging, and production environmentsTroubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, Kubernetes, networking, and platform-related issues with guidance from senior team membersCollaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve automation, reliability, and security practices

Who you are

Around one year of experience in DevOps, cloud, system administration, or a related roleBasic to intermediate experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised applicationsKnowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code conceptsBasic Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and toolsAwareness of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, or ELKBasic understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure, and security principlesFamiliarity with scripting or automation using Bash, Python, or similarA collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a DevOps environment
