Job Description

A Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for ensuring the performance, security, availability, and reliability of Oracle databases. The role blends technical expertise with operational efficiency to support business-critical applications.

Required Skills :
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture
• Perform advanced SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Use AWR, ASH, SQL Profiles, and SQL Baselines to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Optimize memory, CPU, and storage configurations for Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL for debugging and new features addition.
OS Basic (Linux RedHat/Oracle), Storage Basic concepts, Networking Basic concepts

Additional Skills :
• Develop and manage DB automation scripts (Shell, Ansible, Python) for operational tasks.
• Use OEM Cloud Control for database monitoring & alerting.
• Knowledge of AWS RDS and terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog and Grafana for monitoring.
• Experience in application development tools (e.g. GIT, Visual Studio and source control)
