Corporate Manager Large Enterprise Kivu

Role purpose

The purpose of the Corporate Manager Large Enterprise Kivu role is to drive revenue growth within the Vodacom Business Unit (VBU) by managing and expanding a portfolio of key corporate accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, and leading a team of Corporate Sales Specialists. The role focuses on delivering tailored high-speed connectivity and telecom solutions to both private and public sector clients, while ensuring alignment with Vodacom’s strategic objectives. It also involves active participation in business development, sales planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver excellent service and innovative solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to the revenue growth of the VBU department

Understand the sales target set by the company (targets per sector, per individual, etc.)

Implement strategies recommended by VBU Sales Management

• Sell various high-speed solutions (Mobile, Radwin, PABX, VoIP, Fiber products, Satellite, M2M, Reverse Billing, etc.) to corporate key accounts (private and public)

Have a strong understanding of all existing products and newly developed products offered by the company

Ensure Vodacom’s offers meet client expectations

Ensure specific client and prospect requirements are communicated to the pre-sales team for solution and architecture design

Work closely with the pre-sales and solution architecture teams to develop the best proposals for clients

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports

Monitor competitor activities and make recommendations based on market data trends

• Manage a portfolio of corporate key account clients (private and public), focusing on both new solution sales and client retention to maintain and grow portfolio value

Conduct regular sales visits to clients

Ensure customer retention and pay close attention to their needs

Maintain good relationships with clients at all levels of responsibility

Ensure all client retention strategies are closely followed

Liaise with Admin, Credit Control, Operations, Billing, Customer Service, and Technical teams to resolve client issues

• Lead the prospecting of new corporate clients (private and public) for sales of solutions and services

Regularly present products and solutions to prospective companies

Ensure a weekly prospecting list (existing and new clients) is prepared and sent to the line manager at the start of each week

• Participate in weekly VBU department meetings

Attend weekly sales performance meetings and share individual achievements

Maintain daily hygiene of the sales pipeline in “Reportsforce” regarding opportunities

Develop and keep updated “Account Management Plans” for all clients

• Manage a team of Corporate Sales Specialists in charge of client portfolios and prospecting in the segment

Align the team’s objectives with the division’s targets based on common KPIs

Set up and manage team meetings and daily follow-ups

Coach the team on best practices and behaviors

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, or Finance
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Languages: French and English (English is desirable)
