Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Providing legal support to all of the Vodafone Egypt and subsidiaries’ businesses and functions, except litigation.
  • Overall responsibility for the provision of legal support to all of the Vodafone Egypt businesses (such as Sales, Marketing, Business development, HR, Finance, Supply Chain teams, technology) including regular contact with leaders, managers and business partners both locally and regionally.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Company policies.
  • Managing relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers engaged by the Company and driving for cost effective means of delivering high quality legal services in volume and supporting the work of the Legal Department in achieving this aim.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Handling general legal corporate matters; drafting and responding to the related inquiries and requirements.
  • Conducted research and wrote memoranda on various areas of corporate, commercial and other laws.
  • Advanced Contracts ,Researches and advising on commercial related matters

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Legally qualified with minimum experience of 5 years gained at in-house and/or a leading law firm
  • Expert knowledge of contract and commercial law, compliance and telecommunications law, regulation and industry
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic & English languages.
  • Commercial law, drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast moving industry.
