We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

About this Role

We are seeking a Corporate & External Relations Lead to drive VOIS Romania’s external engagement strategy. This role is pivotal in managing sensitive relationships with government bodies, public institutions, and strategic partners, while ensuring alignment with VOIS internal teams. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for external collaborations, ensuring VOIS’s interests are represented accurately and professionally in all external interactions.

What you will do

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all external and internal stakeholder requests related to partnerships and collaborations.
  • Monitor and contribute to public policy discussions and digitalisation initiatives at both local and EU levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, industry associations (e.g., ANIS, ABSL), and public institutions, including those in regional cities.
  • Represent VOIS at industry events, conferences, and roundtables to enhance visibility and influence.
  • Develop partnerships with academic institutions, research centres, and innovation clusters to support R&D and talent development.
  • Coordinate VOIS participation in academic and innovation-related events to strengthen employer branding.
  • Identify and manage opportunities for state aid and EU-funded projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of external initiatives.
  • Demonstrate effective project management, including planning, prioritisation, and delivery of key initiatives.

Who you are

  • Experienced in stakeholder and relationship management, with a strong understanding of public and institutional engagement.
  • Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and writing skills.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree and possesses knowledge of financial and non-financial data.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and geographies, with a willingness to travel if needed.
  • Fluent in English, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.
