Connectivity Demand & Delivery Manager

Job Description

Your day to Day

•You will support a customer focussed “single point of entry” towards NS&E for all IP connectivity demand related requests from VF-Group, VF Local Markets, and its affiliates. Managing all kinds of demand requests from major projects to minor configuration requests.

•You will work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and ready for the delivery of a design solution against them.

•You will establish and run a balanced and transparent demand management process for prioritising all IP connectivity demand requests coming into NS&E_CC&E. With the customer at the centre (internal and customer-focussed governance).

•You will provide consultancy services to the customer and manage the delivery of the demand throughout the process.

•You will proactively manage customer communications, providing them with feedback and status updates on their requirements. Support the Demand and Delivery Team Manager in managing escalations up to senior management level.

•You will manage and support the prioritisation of connectivity projects and demands requiring further implementations into Network and Office IT technology areas.

•You responsible for the scoping, sizing and tracking of all NS&E connectivity demand requests, as well as “project managing” them through to closure.

•You will ensure customers follow the NS&E demand management process. Ensuring transparency within the process and making it SIMPLE for the customer to use

•You will be responsible for the managing & prioritisation of NS&E, Local Market or International resources (i.e. horizontal and or vertical teams).

•You build/ Engage a community of Stakeholders in support of the NS&E customer i.e. contacts in the Local Markets, Group Functions and Internationally.

•You will work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and deliver a solution against this

•You will provide continual updates and feedback to the customer on their demand/project.

•You will manage escalations and find solutions / compromises for customer issues.

•You will identify new customer “Product” requirements which could be developed in the GN Portal for International Connectivity

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications industry in Network Build/Operate, worldwide.

•Good understating of Transmission, Data and Internet technologies.

•Demand Management knowledge and strong experience in supporting medium scale projects

•High level of Project Management experience Proven track record of utilisation of such methodologies in managing projects

•Results orientated and high Customers’ focused: “will do attitude”

•Resolute, resilient and excellent trouble-shooter with proven track record of achieving goals in fast paced and multidiscipline environments

•Strong team player, accustomed of working in multicultural, multilingual large teams
