What you’ll do

The role is responsible for supervising a team of onsite engineers that supports CRM, ERP, Billing and Mediation applications focusing on services availability providing great customer experience to internal and external customers.

  • Supervise a team of Οperations Εngineers
  • Coordinate Incident, Problem and Service management activities
  • Coach Engineers to achieve their goals, bring in best practices and push for innovation
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in technical/architectural decisions related to the applications in scope of the team(s)
  • Develop and implement strategies to expedite the transfer of L2 activities to L1
  • Build solid collaboration processes between onsite and offshore teams
  • Manage the support Vendors and monitor SLAs/KPIs
  • Monitor day to day activities and report performance KPIs to stakeholders
  • Drive operations automation initiatives (CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring tools)

Who you are

  • Recognised as expert in the Business Support domain with a proven track record
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or previous demonstrated work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading/ coaching/mentoring a team of Engineers
  • Good knowledge of ITIL framework and experience in practicing it
  • Strong ability to evaluate, lead and adapt to change, shifting demands in different situations
  • Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills to bridge the gap between teams and functional areas
  • Passion for continuous improvement in processes, team members and yourself
  • Brings in best practices, pushes innovation, drives results based on KPIs
  • Self-motivated, with strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple balls
  • Ability to influence, mentor, and collaborate with agile development teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English and with both technical and business audiences
  • Experience in Telco industry will be an asset
