About this role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support Vodafone’s Network Operations transformation agenda by converting business demand into actionable insight, structured direction, and measurable value. This role focuses on value modelling, demand governance, and enabling strategic decision-making by aligning business priorities with technical feasibility and return on investment. Based in Pune, this position plays a key role in ensuring transformation initiatives deliver tangible business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Lead business analysis of incoming demand, structuring problems and defining clear, outcome-based objectives
  • Develop value models from first principles, including cost, benefit, ROI, and payback assessments
  • Evaluate demand based on value, strategic alignment, complexity, and feasibility
  • Provide insight-driven recommendations to inform prioritisation and investment decisions
  • Challenge and refine business demand to ensure clarity, measurable outcomes, and alignment
  • Produce high-quality business cases and supporting documentation
  • Contribute to demand governance forums, shaping prioritisation and sequencing decisions
  • Ensure consistent evaluation of demand using value and ROI frameworks
  • Guide the strategic direction of transformation initiatives through evidence-based recommendations
  • Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders, providing clear insights and structured recommendations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions
  • Translate complex technical and operational information into actionable business insights
  • Manage the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, covering both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Align requirements to business value and strategic objectives
  • Support solution definition, effort estimation, and success criteria development
  • Enable delivery teams with clear scope, intent, and expected value outcomes
  • Track progress based on value realised and support interventions to maintain scope integrity

Who you are

  • An experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in problem structuring, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Skilled in building value models and conducting ROI analysis from first principles
  • Experienced in working within demand governance frameworks and influencing prioritisation decisions
  • Confident in engaging and advising senior stakeholders with clarity and structured communication
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and interpreting complex systems into business-friendly insights
  • A strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and facilitation capabilities
  • An effective communicator with the ability to present insights in a clear, structured, and concise manner
  • Experience in telecommunications, network operations, or digital transformation environments is advantageous
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI is beneficial
