The Demand and Governance Specialist is responsible for managing and governing Network demand through the Demand Front Door, ensuring its prioritisation, validation, and transition into delivery. The role serves as the primary interface between business areas, technical teams, stakeholders, and commercial functions, ensuring strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and compliance with established processes. It is also responsible for driving demand quality, data integrity, and the adoption of harmonised processes. The role provides insights that support data-driven decision-making and contributes to the continuous evolution of Demand Management capabilities. Additionally, it promotes the use of AI-driven solutions to enhance automation, operational efficiency, and governance accuracy.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and govern Network demand through the Demand Front Door, ensuring requests are properly assessed, prioritised, validated, and transitioned into delivery;
  • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, commercial functions, and governance bodies, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment;
  • Ensure strategic alignment, technical feasibility, commercial viability, and compliance with established governance standards and processes;
  • Drive demand quality, data integrity, and the adoption of harmonised Demand Management practices across the organization;
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support informed decision-making and demand prioritization;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of Demand Management and governance frameworks;
  • Support the implementation of AI-driven capabilities to enhance automation, process optimisation, operational efficiency, and governance effectiveness;
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen demand governance, transparency, and overall business value delivery.

Who you are

  • Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience;
  • Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver feasibility study of proposals;
  • Highly analytical with excellent communication skills – able to communicate confidently and effectively; able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand;
  • Experience of data and transport network;
  • Strong commercial management experience;
  • Excellent understanding of demand and resource management;
  • Ensure the data integrity of governance decisions, providing the “single version of the truth”;
  • Expert in preparation of reporting packs, delivering concise, accurate and easy to read documentation;
  • Professional certification in one or more of the following is desirable: SAFe, Agile, Lean, ITIL, Project Management and Process Improvement;
  • English (Fluency).
