What you’ll do

Coordinate all the activities related to the production of management information and ad-hoc analysis sourced from data warehouse and ensure proper governance, strategy and enforcement of group and local policies. Ensure all demand is captured reviewed and shared with respective stakeholders e.g. IT.

Job Responsibilities

• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts.
• Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
• Develop data set processes for data modelling, mining and production.
• Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with data architects, modellers and IT team members on change implementation
• Support operations team in analysing issues reported in live environment.
• Coordinate and ensure the production of management information and any other ad-hoc analysis
• Be the first line support to other data warehouse users.
• Define and ensure rules to access management information access and liase with corporate security to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and support all demand management process for both reports and developments relating to the data warehouse.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Very good knowledge on database technologies and SQL; Oracle is preferred
• Experience on design, create and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI.
• Basic Experience with ETl/ELT tools
• Experience in developing custom software components and analytics applications
• Experience with Big Data Technologies

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Hold a relevant degree on Computer Science, Business Informatics or related degrees
• Excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
