About this Role
We are seeking a Data Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within Business Intelligence (BI) applications. This role focuses on testing data provisioning layers, validating data structures, and ensuring seamless data integration. The individual will work closely with stakeholders to maintain high standards of data quality and performance, enabling informed business decisions.
What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive BI testing strategies, including test planning, design, and execution.
- Validate data transformations at the data mart level and ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Perform manual and DWH testing using SQL and tools such as Teradata SQL Assistant.
- Monitor performance during data loading sessions and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing readiness and adherence to quality standards.
- Report and manage defects through tools like HP-ALM and Jira, ensuring timely closure.
Who you are
- Experienced in manual testing and data warehouse testing with strong SQL skills.
- Detail-oriented, innovative thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to plan and organise work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Skilled in data manipulation and analysis techniques with excellent communication skills.
- Familiar with tools such as HP-ALM, Jira, and Remedy, and have 4–5 years of relevant experience.
