Role Purpose

  • The Architecture and Design Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in defining and evolving the organization’s IT landscape. This individual is responsible for overseeing three main functions: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Design, and Business Analysis.
  • As a trusted partner and key resource for business teams, this role provides strategic guidance, blueprints for IT modernization, and technical expertise to support business goals with reference to Vodafone Group and industry standards.
  • Has Technology & Business focus to guide the evolution of IT in a way that delivers business value using top-notch technologies in a cost-effective way.
  • Set the standards for IT systems, frameworks, tools and practices to meet business requirements in the most effective and efficient ways.
  • Reduces redundancy, complexity, information silos and business risks associated with IT investments.
  • Oversees, improves and suggest enterprise services and systems to reach the ideal state for IT architecture.
  • Supports business teams to define the best-fit solutions for business challenges.

Key accountabilities

. Enterprise Architecture:

  • Design, develop, and oversee the organization's IT architecture, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain IT blueprints that represent the current and target states of the IT stack.

Lead modernization efforts, identifying and implementing technologies that enhance system performance, scalability

. Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical design documents, ensuring that solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Oversee the creation of solution designs for key business projects, from initial concept through implementation, to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Ensure that solutions are designed with future enhancements in mind, promoting modularity and reusability.

3. Business Analysis:

  • Oversee the Business Analysis function, which includes gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to guide solution development.
  • Develop standards for Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) to ensure clarity, consistency, and traceability across projects.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify gaps, and define requirements that align with organizational goals.

Must Have

  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, and/or business analysis, with a strong background in enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex technology projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of Software Engineering principles.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, TMForum) and best practices for IT stack modernization.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT applications, integrations, and data architecture.
  • Ability to translate Business Strategy and needs into Enterprise Architecture blueprints; estimate the financial impact of architectural alternatives.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering on projects that span multi-disciplinary areas, preferably in a large telecommunications, Enterprise Architecture, Business and IT environments.

Having basic knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud, Big Data and FinTech technologies.
