Role Purpose

An Agile Practitioner fosters a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability, guiding teams to embrace Agile principles and practices. This includes iterative development and collaboration, which ultimately leads to delivering value to our stakeholders more effectively.

Key Accountabilties

Take E2E (End to End) ownership and accountability of establishing agile values, methods, principles & practices for the delivery of the project he/she handles.

Take the role of agile Scrum Master and facilitate discussions and conflict resolution and enable the exploration of alternatives or different approaches & ensure no impact on the delivery of projects.

Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.

Coach and mentor, their project members on agile standards and best practices; ensure consistent best practices are applied across the work streams.

Ensure the correct setup & usage of tools for projects & ensure project documentations are up to date for every sprint.

Manage stakeholders and vendor interfaces as required for technical delivery and report on project progress & activities.

Core Competencies

Proven hands-on experience in managing projects in agile environments, especially, in a facilitator role.

Technical background and ability to understand architecture & technical issues to drive effective agile delivery

Proficiency in Agile principles and practices with deep understanding of different framework and knows when to use what (Scrum, Kanban…).

Solid understanding of software lifecycle and the project's technical aspects which allows him/her to easily understand development team's issues, dependencies and improvements.

Being results oriented with strong focus on achieving team’s goal and delivering value to teams, customers and stakeholders.

Foster continuous improvement culture within the team with commitment to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team performance.

Strong coaching skills to guide the team through Agile practices and facilitate all ceremonies effectively

Technical Skills

  • Solid grasp of software development processes like test automation, DevOPS concepts, release management so he/she can work with the team in spotting the gaps and improve ways of working
  • Agile practitioner having 8+ years of experience
