Job Description

The Head of Finance will be responsible for capital decisions across our exciting and diverse technology and infrastructure landscape and technology portfolio CAPEX. The role will work closely with the CTO and Finance SLT and be responsible for our investment in Anaplan to drive data nd insights. In addition, the role we be responsible for our capital allocation and investment committee transformation.

Reflecting the growth aspirations of Virgin Media O2, combined with the innovative nature, the individual is required to have the gravitas to influence at the most senior levels. This is combined with the intellect to deal with complex programmes and change initiatives. A flexible and open mindset is required, reflecting the diverse nature of the work being performed.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Financial qualification, e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA; or equivalent through experience
  • Line management experience
  • Business partnering, budgeting and planning of the team to ensure activity is aligned with financial and strategic plans, managing the combined CAPEX and supplier base.
  • Strong stake- holder engagement - to build strong and positive relationships with the Technology & Infrastructure SLT’s and providing financial support to all key decisions; designing the SLT finance support to ensure a balanced approach to business partnering
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, EC members and the wider finance leadership team
  • Strong Finance delivery focus
