Job Description
The Finance team are on a mission to transform Virgin Media O2’s planning and forecasting processes through building automated driver-based planning models in Anaplan across all business units.
The Technical Model Builder will report to the Finance Technical Lead and work with the Finance Product Owner, who is responsible for the overall prioritisation and output from the Anaplan models for their respective business unit. The individual will also be part of an Anaplan development squad and will be responsible for delivering model improvements and upgrades as requested by FP&A.
Therefore, strong data modelling skills with experience of building financial planning and forecasting models in Anaplan (ideally L1 & L2 certified).

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Anaplan Model Build – Level 1 & Level 2.
- Proven track record of successfully driving digital transformation at pace.
- Strong data modelling skills with experience building automated planning and forecasting models in Anaplan.
- A proven track record in presenting analysis to senior stakeholders to guide business decisions.
- Proven skills in manipulating data using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, and distilling the information into useful insight to guide operational or commercial change.

- Experience in driving continuous improvement of processes and means of delivery to stakeholders, whilst also embracing and managing organisational change.
- Strong decision making including incorporating stakeholder views to support own stream of activity. Able to remain impartial ensuring efforts are focussed on action.
