The location of this role is Nationwide
The Credit Risk system and strategy lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Credit Risk systems and strategy, supporting the implementation of business wide initiative and all Credit Risk change. Influencing the development of the Virgin Media O2 Credit Risk Strategy. Ensuring close performance monitoring across the Virgin Media O2 Consumer Credit portfolio, advising the design, implementation and strategies that carefully balance risk and reward. The must haves In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • A deep understanding of credit and fraud risk.
  • Experience in designing, developing, monitoring & oversight of credit risk management models, scorecards, and systems.
  • Knowledge of Experian, Equifax, or Transunion bureau services across credit decisioning and fraud behavioural services.
  • Expert translation of business requirements into system and strategy delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAS / SQL, or transferrable coding skills in languages such as Python, R or Big Query.
  • Able to work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.

The other stuff we are looking for We'd also love you to bring;

  • Proven problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Powercurve Software, particularly Strategy Design Studio
  • Influencing and networking skills to support optimisation delivery and proactive engagement with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience using SOAP / REST testing tool.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning models and techniques.
  • Expert translation of business requirements into system and strategy delivery.
