Job Description
The Group FP&A team are responsible for handling the financial planning function of the Virgin Media O2 group, internal financial reporting, and analysing the financial performance of Virgin Media O2!
The collective Reporting & Analysis output from Group FP&A supports the Executive Committee (EC) in making better, more informed decisions to drive VMO2 forward and to achieve both the financial & operational objectives of our business.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Support the production of monthly management packs and key financial/ KPI reports for the Board, EC, CFO and Shareholders, providing robust and detailed interpretation of financial results to enable the business to take timely actions to achieve targets
- Develop narrative of identified variances and provide financial insight for various collaborators linked to commercial and other drivers.
- Working alongside the finance systems team to drive improvement of the reporting process, through further automation and structure to the reporting systems
- Develop new reports for performance reporting of financials and KPI’s to provide greater clarity and understanding of combined business performance
- Support on monthly reporting meetings and leverage relationships with the ARC team, wider FP&A and finance teams to build insight of actual results.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Qualified accountant
- Support Investor Relations on external reporting
- Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience of Thinkcell, SAP BPC, Essbase, Smartview and Anaplan are advantageous, training can be provided
- Articulate with strong communication skills and the desire to influence a wide range of internal collaborators across all levels and business areas.
- Able to prioritise in order to respond to short notice requests and tight deadlines, a track record of handling challenging and changing deadlines and quick turnarounds of information whilst maintaining attention to detail
