Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity in our IT Strategy and Architecture team for a Data Engagement Manager to join on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You'll be accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of engagements, governance, vendor management for this division of Change, delivery strategy, demand and forecasting management. You will own and manage the Front Door into Data Management, and will facilitate companywide initiatives into the relevant teams, ensuring significant process changes, wider IT strategy, improvement forums, workshops, and business management activities.

As the Senior Manager Data Engagement, you will lead an amazing team whilst being responsible for the contractual performance and management of third-party vendors, providing efficiency reports including departmental throughput, risk, escalation, tooling and development, strategy and roadmap.

This is a great opportunity for you to work as part of the leadership team and manage operational processes while supporting Directors and Senior Managers to make sure that engagement workflow, financial processes and third-party contracts are fit for purpose, effective and compliant.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Previous proven experience in a similar Data Engagement/Data service delivery role in a complex environment
  • Evidence of a solid understanding of project delivery lifecycles, delivery methodologies and governance
  • Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems whilst challenging the norm
  • Experience in collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the business
