Job Description

We've got an outstanding new opportunity for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Major Programs team in the CIO directorate.

If you’re someone who loves solving complex problems and leading the design of big-picture, end-to-end tech solutions, this role is for you. You’ll work on everything from customer-facing apps to order management systems and network provisioning, creating smooth, scalable setups that boost efficiency and make life easier for our customers.

You’ll be the go-to person for technical guidance on Major Programs projects, making sure designs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. That means handling impact assessments, Architecture Steers, Technical Assessments, and High-Level Design docs. You will work closely with Enterprise Architecture to keep everything in line with our IT strategies and the ESA framework. It will be up to you to spot ways to simplify things by reusing existing tech and cutting down on complexity. Plus, you’ll team up with delivery folks early on to nail down planning, resourcing, and costs.

Building strong relationships with stakeholders is a huge part of the role, making sure solutions really hit the mark and gathering feedback along the way. You’ll keep things compliant from end to end, push for continuous improvements, and stay involved in project meetings. Supporting and mentoring other architects and designers is also part of the gig, along with keeping everyone updated on progress and any issues. At the end of the day, it’s about delivering solid, scalable, and secure solutions that create great experiences for users and customers alike.
