
Partner Manager
Job Description
As Partner Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Virgin Media O2’s strategic partner ecosystem. Working within IT Finance and Governance, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key technology partners, ensuring they deliver outstanding value, meet contractual commitments and support our wider business objectives. This is a highly visible role that combines relationship management, commercial oversight and governance to help maximise performance across our partner landscape.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across technology, finance, procurement and legal teams to drive effective supplier governance, manage commercial performance and proactively address risks. From leading governance forums and supporting contract management activities to monitoring partner performance and identifying opportunities to optimise value, you’ll help ensure our partnerships remain effective, compliant and aligned to business priorities. They play a big role in helping people feel connected from day one. The must haves • Proven experience managing strategic supplier or partner relationships within a complex commercial environment
• Strong contract and commercial management experience, including governance and compliance activities
• Experience monitoring partner performance and managing commercial risks and escalations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Procurement, Legal, Finance and Technology teams
• Degree qualified or equivalent, with professional accreditation achieved or in progress in a relevant field The other stuff we are looking for • Experience within a large-scale technology or telecommunications organisation
• Understanding of software asset management and supplier landscape management
• Experience supporting sourcing activities and change control processes
• Knowledge of partner billing, charge-back models and service credit management
