Job Description

Our busy small animal surgery in Romford is seeking an additional enthusiastic Full Time Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team of 13 vets, 12 RVNs, 10 Student Nurses and 10 Receptionists. Our location offers free on-site parking as well as fantastic transport links into central London in just 25 minutes and out to the Essex countryside within 20 minutes. It is also ideally located for both City & Southend Airport.

The team hold a wide variety of individual interests from medicine through to soft issue and orthopaedic surgery and we offer a generous CPD allowance meaning you will receive support towards studying at certificate level. Our spacious surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including 2 dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, in house laboratory and digital radiographs. We also have a full endoscopy and CT scan and are continually looking to invest in the best to improve the services that we can offer to our clients.

You will also have excellent people skills, be flexible in your approach to practice and demonstrate passion for the practice and the team. You will be comfortable in a consult room with clients and offer fantastic customer service and dedication.

Full time hours will be split across 4 weekdays with a weekend rota of just 1 in 6 full weekends and 1 in 6 Saturdays only. The partners will also consider part time hours for the right candidate.

In return, we offer:

  • Excellent career opportunities and development due to the varied case load
  • Competitive salary up to £80k
  • Dedicated onsite day and night team enabling 24/7 onsite care for all patients
