What you’ll be doing...
Verizon is looking for a dynamic and talented leader for managing and developing Managed security solutions in the Technology and Product development organization. This portfolio includes platforms like Atlas, SAGE, OG and Security products like MXDR, Managed Security Services platform/services and any other new/additional platform product initiatives for the TPD Cyber security product domain spanning the 5 NIST cybersecurity pillars of identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover.IAM/BMO are few critical systems which are supporting authorization and order creation for Security Products.
Modernize existing tools and solutions
Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
Lead a team of high performing engineers working on multiple projects and releases
Work with your partners across the organization to develop processes and strategies for producing new features and products that delight our customers
Manage all the stages of large engineering projects from concept to design through implementation and release
Hold a high bar for software design, quality, and execution
Responsible for setting goals that are aligned with the business needs and leading your team to deliver them successfully
Mentor team members in software development skills and leadership responsibilities
Scrum Master for the Web Service Frameworks team
Work jointly with the PO (Product Owner) to plan and execute tactical (product) and strategic (enterprise) level projects
Advises and consults with other departments on production software issues, concerns, problems, and questions
Work with senior leadership to build business cases for new technology adoption
Liaise with vendors and service providers to select products or services that best meet company goals

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Experience of Full Stack Java (e.g., Angular, SIEM, Node Js, Java, AWS Cloud)
Good understanding of Cyber Security domain and Verizon Cyber Security Products
Ability to build SME knowledge in the team and set goals to the individual which will effectively utilize their individual skills.
Experience in cross skilling team members
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Masters degree.
PMP Certified
