What you will be doing...

The Service Performance & Coaching Insights team within the VCG Hub (Data and Analytics) Organization is searching for an Engineer III Data Science. This technical role will support the data development and reporting for performance goal data solutions. In this role you will support technical projects responsible for KPI and OKR measure development, data production deployment and UAT oversight, analytics and BI solutions

This Engineer III needs to have an understanding of AI, and will support ways to leverage these opportunities to maximize the potential of performance data. This role will leverage a strong statistical background and acumen to transform the utilization of data to identify growth opportunities and accelerate performance. The role will continually build on uncovering the impact of coaching on performance, and providing insights to make data driven decisions on employee growth opportunities.

The Engineer III is skilled in data management and data warehousing in multiple environments. This role has development expertise in BI visualization tools, and will support client needs and solutions for dashboard creation.

• Meeting with the clients to discuss and determine the requirements for developing and maintaining report

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and display data.

• Optimizing and tuning data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability in data processing.

• Building & Optimizing ETL workflows to transform data into meaningful insights, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems.

• Developing and creating BI dashboard solutions in Qlik & Looker to provide client insights, trends, and data extracts.
  

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

• Experience with data warehousing and reporting ecosystems in Teradata, Hadoop, SQL Server, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of BI visualization tools such as Qlik and Looker

• Knowledge of SQL coding, and standards for data management performance

• Experience in designing ETL processes to maximize performance, load times and application service levels.

• Knowledge of project management processes Agile & Scrum, and management tools such as Jira

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics

• Technical certifications in SQL or Python

• PMP or Agile certification
