Job Description

You will provide high-quality statistical consultancy to one of our key FSP clients, contributing to a wide portfolio of Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies across multiple assets and indications. Acting as a trusted statistical advisor, you will support studies from early concept development through to publication. This is a consultative, leadership-focused role rather than one centred on operational execution, and you will work closely with global and local stakeholders as part of the broader RWE Strategy Team. At Senior level, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities such as line management, project leadership, or mentoring, depending on your experience and interests. We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience in Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies and/or clinical trials
  • Proven experience reviewing and approving key study documentation and outputs, including:
    • Study concepts and protocols
    • Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
    • TFLs and TFL shells
  • Confidence explaining statistical concepts to non-statisticians and presenting to cross‑functional client teams
  • The ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously, balancing competing timelines and priorities in a consultancy environment
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant statistics, biostatistics, or clinical research role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical leadership and oversight across multiple RWE studies
  • Act as a statistical consultant from early concept development through study delivery and publication
  • Contribute to study design, including endpoints, methodological considerations, and sample size approaches
  • Review, consult on, and approve:
    • RWE study concepts and protocols
    • SAPs and mock shells
    • Interim and final Tables, Figures and Listings (TFLs)
    • Clinical Study Reports and publication materials
  • Deliver project-level statistical input aligned with the overall RWE strategy
  • Support ad hoc, exploratory, and secondary analyses as required
  • Confidently program or review work in SAS and/or R

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with study design and sample size methodology
  • Regulatory exposure
  • Familiarity with Bayesian methods
  • Prior experience working across multiple indications or compounds

Opportunities For:

  • Presenting at scientific conferences and authoring publications
  • Line management, peer mentoring, and knowledge sharing
  • Contributing to process improvements and delivering internal training
  • Supporting initiatives aligned with our B Corp accreditation, including employee wellbeing, sustainability, and community engagement

What to Expect:

  • A warm, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you can thrive
  • Supportive, open-door leadership with genuine investment in your development
  • Exposure to a broad client and study portfolio, helping you diversify your experience
  • The opportunity to own your role, influence strategy, and make a visible impact
  • Growth within a forward-thinking CRO that genuinely does things differently

If you’re ready to make a real impact in RWE within a consultancy-focused statistical role, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now!
