In a world where digital technologies are advancing at a rapid pace, changing the way we communicate and altering consumer behavior, we need Developers passionate about software development. You will work in cross-functional agile DevOps team with fellow Developers to solve complex technical problems and enhancing our customers online experience.

You will be part of a dedicated agile team for innovating and developing our online platforms that allow all our customers to have real-time insights in their energy consumption and production and giving them tips and tools to reduce their costs and CO2 footprint. Our teams consists of business colleagues and developers working together to serve our millions of customer and allow them to interact with Vattenfall via portals, apps, and telephony solutions.

Some Developers in the team focus more on front-end, some more on the back-end. In this role you would focus more on the front-end, but you are not afraid to touch the back-end!

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Together with your cross skilled team work on building customer facing smart energy solutions
  • Contribute code to the development of the solution, through local builds and deployments as well as the CI/CD environments.
  • Help Vattenfall grow their software engineering capabilities by contributing to coding norms & standards, software design best practices, and system architecture
  • Challenge the business in the creation of their requirements and come with innovative alternatives together with your teams product owner

Are you looking for complex coding challenges allowing you to contribute to our purpose? And do you enjoy switching between front-and back-end technologies? Are you naturally staying updated with the latest technology, just as we do?

Apply today if you meet the following requirements:

  • You have a Bachelor or University degree and experience in back end development
  • You are fully skilled in Angular (version 19+) and have experience or interest in:
  • Modern front-end development with Angular, including component-based architecture and reactive programming;
  • NX/Nrwl and mono-repo architectures for scalable application management;
  • TailwindCSS, Signals, NGXS, Cypress, Jest and other related tools
  • Capacitor hybrid development for mobile development

You also have working knowledge of or exposure to:

  • .NET 8 for API integration and back-end support;
  • Microsoft Azure services such as Web Apps, API Management, App Configuration, Container Apps, and Cosmos DB — especially where they intersect with front-end concerns (e.g., authentication, environment configuration, and API consumption).

On top of that our tech stack contains:

  • Yaml pipelines; Azure DevOps repo; Capacitor
  • ASP.NET (Core); Microservice architecture
  • SAP as a back-end, with several other db's
