The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Digital Experience Officer. In this role you will play a key role in developing and optimising our externally facing digital platforms and products.

Leading on the governance and activation of our content and small change requests for unitedutilities.com and other digital products including our email campaign tool. Working with the Digital Experience Manager to drive forward positive change for our current and future online customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the process for management of website changes across unitedutilities.com including the resource planning, SLA management and delivery
  • Plan and have oversight of unitedutilities.com releases including documentation of timelines, testing requirements and the appropriate planning of team resource to support the process
  • Execution of small to medium website change requests within the website content management system including liaison with subject matter experts for relevant approval and appropriate liaison with external suppliers if required
  • Be the champion of our email campaign tool to ensure all processes are documented and followed.
  • Delivery of email campaigns on behalf of subject matter experts and campaign managers
  • Provide analytical and insightful reports on digital behaviour such as email campaign reports and website insights from google analytics
  • Work closely with the digital optimisation manager to support on key projects that drive the performance of our online customer journeys
  • Carry out analysis and lead on optimisation of digital products used to facilitate our digital customer experience such as messaging platforms
  • Be an advocate of emerging trends and technology and assist with company adoption of new ideas and technology as and when they become available
  • Be a key player within the digital optimisation team and become a champion for digital customer experience within the business to ensure we deliver on customer satisfaction and resilience for our customers

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant experience in a digital product /optimisation role
  • Strong evidence of sustained digital skills development through professional training courses/qualifications
  • Experience of working within a fast paced digital environment
  • Ability to translate data into compelling insights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise is key
  • Previous experience working on content management systems and working with google analytics
