Job Description

The Role

Are you an experienced engineering leader with a strong mechanical or electrical background? Do you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoy leading people to deliver safe, reliable and effective engineering performance?

We’re looking for an Delivery Manager to provide strong leadership across a busy operational environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical engineering knowledge with the ability to lead, influence and develop others.

A strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background is fundamental to this role. We’re particularly interested in candidates who have built their experience within engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, utilities or another operationally focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing clear leadership and direction to engineering teams.
  • Supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and effective engineering performance.
  • Using your mechanical and/or electrical knowledge to provide technical leadership and challenge.
  • Working collaboratively with operational teams and key stakeholders.

  • Experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • High level of understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework surrounding wastewater operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence and develop others.
  • A practical understanding of engineering, maintenance and operational challenges.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across engineering and operational teams.

You could potentially come from manufacturing, process industries, energy, engineering or another asset-intensive operational environment.
