Cyber Insights Summer School - Registration of Interest Ref.3824

Does the world of cyber intrigue you? Do you want to understand how the internet works in more detail? Do you have an aptitude for problem solving and coding? Have you considered a career in cyber intelligence? GCHQ is keen to invest in enhancing your cyber skills. On our unique Summer School, you’ll get an insight into how GCHQ uses innovative technologies, and have the chance to see how your passion for technology could help protect the UK.

You’ll learn through structured teaching with extensive hands-on practical experimentation. You’ll grow and further your knowledge in Network Fundamentals, Malware Analysis, Pen Testing, Ethical Hacking and Forensics.

You’ll receive a payment of £300 per week plus funded accommodation on our ten-week programme, which will run from late June to early September 2027. Please note that accommodation consists of single occupancy rooms with a shared kitchen area and within mixed gender buildings.

Together with a team of talented people, you’ll benefit from a rewarding summer that will provide insight and stretch your abilities like no other. All we require is that you are graduating between summers 2028-2030 and are studying for a STEM degree, or a Joint Honours degree in a STEM subject.
