Senior Material Supplier

Job Description

Based in our Hangar facility in Luton, As Senior Material Supplier you will provide full material support in dispatch, goods inspection, picking, tool stores & unserviceable aircraft components. You will be also responsible for the operational support and procurement of aircraft spare parts.

**This role is based is based on site at our Hangar 61 facility in Luton, we welcome applications from those that live within a commutable distance from the Hangar.**

ABOUT THE JOB

• Ability to work in all areas of our technical stores

• Packing & preparing and documents for dangerous goods shipments

• Responsible for the operational support and procurement of aircraft spare parts

• Tracing and tracking of on-going shipments worldwide and expediting the delivery of parts into the shops or to other stations

• Maintain a shift handover log for your designated area at the end of each day and liaise with other departments as necessary (e.g. outside agencies, airport authorities, Maintrol etc.)

ABOUT YOU

• Aviation background with technical stores/warehouse supply chain experience

• Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to present at all levels across a wide engineering organisation

• Willing to travel to support the operational support of the engineering organisation

• Ability to work rosters which may include unsocial hours
