R2R Finance Specialist - TUI HOTELS & RESORTS DIGITAL

About the Role

Joining the THR Digital Finance team, the Finance Specialist will support the day-to-day finance operations of TUI Hotels & Resorts Global Distribution (TGD) responsible for the digital business of TUI Hotels & Resorts, supporting more than 12 hotel brands and over 400 hotels worldwide across multiple distribution channels and markets. The role combines elements of financial accounting, finance operations, commercial controlling and process coordination across multiple international stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal finance teams, business stakeholders, hotels, suppliers, and shared service centers to ensure that financial processes are operating efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Accounting

• Coordinate finance processes involving internal stakeholders, hotels, suppliers, and shared service teams.
• Support suppliers onboarding, account setup, and master data maintenance processes in SAP in compliance with company policies.
• Liaise with SAP process experts and shared service teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Assist with invoice processing, coding validation, and approval of workflow compliance.
• Support month-end activities, accruals, reconciliations, and journal postings.

Commercial Controlling & Reporting

• Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
• Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and management information.
• Monitor revenues, commissions, and commercial performance indicators.
• Assist with annual budget and long-term planning processes.
• Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports for senior management.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and automation.
• Support implementation of new finance and reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively across international teams to establish efficient ways of working.
• Contribute to documentation and standardisation of finance procedures.

About You

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Finance Operations.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Curious and interested in AI technology-enabled finance processes.
• Ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.
