Are you an expert in AMOS or have extensive line experience in aviation systems? Join TUI Airline E&M as a Fleet Systems Support Engineer and play a key role in supporting the Swiss Aviation Software System AMOS. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Fleet Systems team and various departments, ensuring smooth system operations and contributing to our long-term strategic goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Provide frontline support as a subject matter expert for technical inquiries related to AMOS.
• Own and manage help desk services, ensuring timely issue resolution and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Analyse and test systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Facilitate product self-learning and provide user-retrieved information.
• Manage accounts, access rights, and ensure application availability.
• Implement a tiered help desk infrastructure for efficient multi-tier fleet systems support.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of fleet systems data.
• Develop automated interfaces with operational, financial, and engineering systems.
• Support the testing, release, and deployment of system enhancements.
• Provide detailed data reports and analysis for TUI Airline E&M.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices.
• Support internal and external audits of AMOS data.
• Undertake additional projects and tasks as required by the business.

ABOUT YOU

• Extensive working knowledge of the Swiss Aviation Software system AMOS.
• Secondary Education Diploma (MBO 4, GCSE, BTEC Level 3) or equivalent in Computer Sciences.
• Experience as an IT support specialist or similar role.
• Significant experience in aviation systems, with a deep understanding of technical and operational impacts.
• Strong IT skills with experience in systems development and deployment.
• Ability to operate effectively within a pan-European environment with multiple customers and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to use analytical tools to enhance performance.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance required for E&M systems.
• Strong proficiency in business English (written & spoken) and willingness to travel across Europe.
• Analytical mindset with a pragmatic attitude, hands-on mentality, and focus on results.
• Familiarity with AMOS, Microsoft 365, networks, and other IT infrastructures.
• Exceptional technical support skills and the ability to resolve queries efficiently.
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications and standard networking knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of computer hardware, software, system security, maintenance, and networks.
• Innovation, flexibility, alternative thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Technical competency in software used in a professional services environment.
• Champion the needs of colleagues and clients on key Fleet Systems Projects.
