Finance is a function within our airline organisation responsible for the key financial activities within the regions. The TUI Airline Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.
As Finance Reporting Manager – TUI Airline you will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis with the provision of financial information and high quality support on many aspects of finance including development of the TUI Airline P&L, 3-year strategic plans, budgetary ownership, performance evaluation, forecasting, and driving the business to deliver initiatives.
Develop TUI Airline management reporting to include P&L performance, FTE developments, benchmarking, route profitability and competitor analysis working in co-ordination with functional and regional teams. Reporting to also include assessment of risks and opportunities as well as interdependencies across TUI Airline that may impact delivery of strategic objectives.
You will lead a small team to support the development of a functionally led cost base across the TUI Airline, building transparency and insight to support TUI Airline and market. You will coach and develop the team, ensuring all direct reports are engaged and motivated to perform to high standards and to agreed objectives.
This is an important management role to help generate standardisation, commonality and consistency across the regional Airline teams whilst promoting a TUI Airline culture and mindset. Ensure the TUI Airline is cost development is benchmarked internally and externally.
This role can be based out of Luton, Zaventem, Rijswijk, Hannover or Stockholm.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Finance Reporting Manager – TUI Airline you’ll be responsible for:
- Support the TUI Airline forecast, budget and 3YP planning and strategy process to focus on key strategic areas and harmonisation activities to ensure function led approach. In close collaboration with the regional airlines finance team to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions whilst ensuring the market requirements are delivered.
- Providing robust financial leadership and take full accountability for the TUI Airline Investment Committee
- Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit
- Leading, consolidating and coordinating reporting through Financial Planning & Analysis function within this area to promote consistency and value-added data – to include P&L alignment, functional analysis, benchmarking and route profitability
- Develop a TUI Airline financial reporting suite to give meaningful insight into the P&L, BS and route profitability performance
- Lead FTE tracking and monitoring across TUI Airline
- Take responsibility for the oversight of TUI Airline initiatives assessment and tracking
- Leading and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory
- frameworks; ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms for investments and capital expenditure
- Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Experience qualified accountant (3 yrs. PQE - preferably ACA or equivalent) or
European university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and several years of experience working in finance/controlling
3+ years’ team leadership experience and experience in setting and achieving strategic objectives and in supporting colleagues across all functions
High intellectual capacity
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to strategize and solve problems
Able to produce and deliver high impact presentations of key performance information to all levels of the business and the ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally
Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral)
Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer environment
Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel
