Within TUI Group, TUI Airline regroups all airline activities across UK, Nordics, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Morocco, France, and the Dutch Antilles. Airline Finance is a function within our airline organisation responsible for supporting the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting of actuals, forecasts, and budgets; and business partnering the Aviation Planning department and Tour Operator. The Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.

Airpas is the key source of information for a significant amount of variable DOC’s costs within the Airline. We make sure that the Airpas output is complete, on time and easily accessible for all our internal customers. The aim is to make use of the ‘TUI All’ set up as an end-to-end solution, from booking all invoices in one central location (Golden Source) to the data output.

As, Finance Analyst, Airpas Intelligence and Flight Cost your focus will be to manage all internal data requests and reporting requirements from within Airline Finance and support the Finance Manage, Airpas Intelligence and Flight Cost Management in developing the future roadmap and ongoing relationship with Skymetrix / Airpas.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Finance Analyst, Airpas Intelligence and Flight Cost you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing and owning all Internal Data Requests from within TUI Airline Finance and the wider Airline Communities to act as a single point of contact within the Airpas Function and to improve management of requests within TUI Airline Finance.
• Responsible for managing all ad-hoc and Group Reporting requirements made by TUI Airline Finance.
• You will represent the Airpas function and act as a key point of contact and interface into the TUI Airline Finance Analytics function to ensure all requests are prioritized.
• Develop processes and future ways of working with the TUI Airline Analytics function and wider Airline data teams to help support the wider Airline strategy of process improvement and efficiency.
• Support the Finance Manager, in developing the future roadmap and ongoing relationship with Skymetrix/Airpas to ensure alignment with priorities and objectives across the two organisations.
• Support the Airpas function in acting as a single point of contact within the Airline on all Airpas related topics, working with the wider team to support our internal (Airline and Functions) and external customers (outside of TUI)
• Support the Finance Manager, Airpas Intelligence and Flight Cost Management on Route Cost Analysis activities when required to help support the deliverables on this project for TUI Airline.
• Support the delivery of the broader ‘One Airpas’ Project Roadmap to enable the future transition towards our Airpas Target Operating Model, a key enabler for Budget & Forecasting.
• From time to time, you may be required to represent Airpas Team for input into key stakeholder forums and meetings.
• Build and develop robust internal and external stakeholder relationships and ways of working that allows for efficient delivery, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Embrace and input into the wider Airpas strategy when required to ensure the requirements for our source markets, customers and airline are met and that you are aligned to the wider vision.
• Pioneering TUI Airline Spirit behaviours and working practices in ensuring the adoption and delivery of the four themes across the Airpas team and the broader TUI Airline Finance community.

ABOUT YOU

• logical and analytical approach to working with large data sets and a good eye for detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint including creating meaningful and engaging presentations.
• Knowledge of Tableau or other data management systems is a plus.
• Diligent worker with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to use own initiative to problem-solve.
• Ability to shape and change processes with a can-do, positive attitude.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Preferably the applicant will have good knowledge of Airpas system and experience working with the system.
• Proven experience working in Finance/Commercial is a plus.
• Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel.
