Your mission will be to ensure excellent customer service, health, and safety of our passengers and help spread Smiles as part of our international team.As a Tourism Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation to tourists visiting various destinations across the country. Your primary goal will be to enhance the travel experience by ensuring guests are transported comfortably and securely while offering exceptional customer service.

This is a locally employed position. You must have the right to live and work in Costa Rica before applying.

ABOUT YOU

• Valid Costa Rican driver's license (Type B or A preferred).
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in tourism or passenger transport.
• Familiarity with the geography of Costa Rica and popular tourist destinations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish (English proficiency is a plus).
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
• Physical ability to assist tourists with luggage and perform other light duties.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of essential vehicle maintenance is desirable.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Safely transport tourists to various destinations throughout Costa Rica, including popular attractions, airport services to hotels in Costa Rica.
• Provide a comfortable and pleasant journey, always ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism.
• Offer insights and information about local attractions, culture, and points of interest during the journey (basic knowledge of Costa Rica's landmarks is a plus).
