Senior Platform Developer

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Platform Developer to join our Promotions & CRM Team and play a key role in evolving the platform that powers our promotions and customer relationship management systems. You’ll bring strong experience across C#, .NET, JavaScript and Terraform, and use that expertise to help guide technical direction, support others in the team, and deliver high quality solutions.

This role offers hybrid working, with three days per week based in our Sunderland office and the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

What you’ll be working on 👀

• Leading the design and development of the services that power tombola’s promotional mechanics and CRM capabilities
• Playing a key role in moving our promotional systems towards a microservices based architecture
• Taking ownership of complex pieces of work from idea through to delivery
• Working closely with developers, product and platform teams to shape solutions and outcomes
• Supporting and mentoring other developers through collaboration, pairing and knowledge sharing
• Contributing to technical discussions and helping influence how we build and evolve our platform

What we’re looking for 😇

• Strong, proven experience with C# and .NET
• Good understanding of both front end and back end development
• Experience working with JavaScript, Terraform and cloud based technologies
• Confidence taking ownership of technical decisions and explaining your thinking clearly
• A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to support others in the team
• A proactive, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• A passion for building high quality solutions that make a real difference for our players
