Job Description
- Lead UX work from problem definition to delivery, applying a strong design thinking approach�
- Plan and carry out user research and discovery activities, using both qualitative and quantitative insights�
- Translate research into clear problem statements, experience principles, user flows and design concepts�
- Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma Plan, run and analyse usability testing, feeding insights back into design improvements�
- Work confidently with design systems, applying components appropriately and contributing improvements where needed�
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure designs are feasible, inclusive and deliver value�
- Advocate for the user and for accessibility and inclusive design throughout the design process�
- Present work clearly to stakeholders, explaining design decisions and trade-offs
- Contribute to chapter rituals, critiques and continuous improvement of UX practice at Tesco Mobile
- Strong experience as a UX Designer working across the full design lifecycle�
- Proven ability to work as a UX generalist, from discovery through to delivery Experience planning and conducting user research and usability testing�
- Excellent Figma skills, including prototyping and working with shared libraries Hands-on experience using and contributing to design systems�
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture and user-centred design principles�
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams Confident communicator, able to articulate design rationale to a range of stakeholders�
