Job Description

We’re looking for a visionary Product Manager to take ownership of the Transport Office Operations domain and redefine how Tesco moves goods across one of the UK’s largest distribution networks. This role is at the heart of shaping the future of transport operations for Tesco. You’ll be the driving force behind seamless dispatches and arrivals, ensuring our fleet runs like clockwork so Tesco can serve its customers, communities, and planet a little better, every day.

You’ll thrive in ambiguity, turning complex challenges into elegant solutions, and build products from the ground up that transform operational efficiency. If you’re passionate about creating intuitive experiences, collaborating with brilliant designers and engineers, and influencing the backbone of transport innovation, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at scale.

  • Own the Transport Office Operations product domain, defining vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct user research and discovery to deeply understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and prioritise features based on impact.
  • Work in an agile environment, managing backlog, sprints, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on transport and supply chain operations trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Proven experience in building products from 0–1, ideally in a complex operational domain.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with experience collaborating with designers and conducting user research.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to bring clarity and structure.
  • Knowledge of transport and supply chain operations, including workflows, compliance, and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise services and APIs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
