What you'll build

We’re looking for a motivated and curios working student (f/m/d), who wants to work in a diverse scrum team in the application unit ERP Public Cloud Engineering Core Finance. You will apply methods of the lean development model and agile software engineering. You will contribute to improving and re-defining test automation in General Ledger functionalities for better quality of our products.

We're looking for a student (f/m/d) to cover these tasks:

• Support the development, improvement, maintenance, and execution of the programs used for automatic testing of our application programs
• Perform test activities for UI in the functional domain of General Ledger Master Data
• Prepare and analyse some quality and administrative data and KPIs
• Build up and expand business knowledge within Finance
• Acquire quickly and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks
• Share knowledge and collaborate closely with other team members, especially with product team, the quality expert, and the affiliates teams

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or similar
• Programming languages: ABAP is a plus
• Language skills: Fluent in English and minimum basic German
• Working from Walldorf office is required

The Unit Core Fiance in Public Cloud ERP Engineering successfully delivers SAP’s simplification story by SAP S/4HANA. Core Finance is a global development organization with teams in Walldorf, Potsdam, Shanghai, Brno that work in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
